58The Artist's Statement
I am an artist living in Addison, Texas. Addison is a city in North East Texas surrounding on all sides by Dallas.
The purpose of my work is create an emotional connection in much the same way as a story-teller or musician attempts to create a connection with the audience.
My subject matter is that of the military, people using mobile technology (cell phones), and figurative models.
I have a website at http://randydillon.com that I update regurally, so look for me there as well.

I've never noticed anyone post paintings on here so this was refreshing. I like the dramatic lines and the old communist worker poster references in your work.

Intense art, Dude! :O)
"Man With Crown Holding Beer" is especially touching. The color, the play of planes, the shadow, the symbolism--it's America in a miniturized intense space. Says a lot in a quiet dark spot.
I see you making a real splash in the art world, Randy!
